Belgrade is one of the oldest cities in Europe and is the capital of Serbia. Belgrade gets some of its mystic charm out of the confluence of the Sava and Danube rivers, that is where the Pannonian Plain meets the Balkans.

Due to location Belgrad can be your door to Central Europe. Its also the capital oof culture, education and science in Serbia and as such hosts many cultural events, including the Film Festival, Theatre Festival, Summer Festival, Music Festival, Book Fair, and the Beer Fest.

Nowadays Belgrade has a reputation for offering a vibrant night life. This young city can keep you enterained through out the night. The most recognizable nightlife feature of Belgrade are the barges (splav), spread along the banks of Sava and Danube Rivers.

For those eager of traditional experiene Belgrade offers a traditional Serbian night life experience accompanied by traditional music known as Starogradska (roughly translated as Old Town Music) at most prominent in Skadarlija, the city's old bohemian neighborhood. Skadar Street (the centre of Skadarlija) and the surrounding neighbourhood are lined with some of Belgrade's best and oldest traditional restaurants.
